The Anvir Bashundhara Group (ABG) Foundation has continued its weekly food distribution programme for orphans and underprivileged students at several madrasas and orphanages in Dhaka.
Among the beneficiaries are around 250 children of Jamia Mohammadia Hafiziya Madrasa and Orphanage, many of whom spend much of their lives away from family support.
On Friday, special food packets were distributed among students after Juma prayers as part of the foundation’s regular humanitarian initiative.
Students of the madrasa said Friday has become a particularly joyful day for them as they look forward to receiving the meals.
